British food? Past are the days when eyebrows were raised and questions asked.  Local Chefs are now proud of their heritage. Nowadays almost every other restaurant prides itself with being the true representative of modern British cooking.

The same can be said about English wines. In the last few years wine drinkers began to understand that the local trade is much more than just a gimmick. With the likes of Chapel  Down and Hush Heath Estate selling all of their production before it is released, the future seems bright and clear.

The time now seems right to deal with the missing link; British cocktails. Trinity restaurant, already a leader and renowned for its Modern British cooking decided to take the lead. Watch the video below where Rupert Taylor, Trinity’s Sommelier,  prepares one of their most popular aperitif The Royal Whittington. This is easy to make and obviously 100% made in England.
