Welcome to Bibendum Times! These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are here to help you use this site. If you experience any problems and you can’t find the answer you are looking for here, please email us at btimes@bibendum-wine.co.uk. We’ll get back to you and give you the help you need and then, if it would help others, we’ll add your question to this page right here.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS
How can I upload my photos?
Go to Send us your stuff and click on browse. Then select the image or video file you want to upload and click submit. It will then load your photo or video on to our You tube video, or Flickr as well as in to the In Pictures section and the buzz page. It may take a bit of time to load as some of the files can be quite large, but don’t worry, just let the site do its thing.
How long is it before I can see my photo’s on the site?
Your photos and videos should then appear on the site within 5 minutes, sometimes even quicker!
Do the photos and videos need to be of any specific size or file type?
All photos and videos must be under 10MB
You can upload most major file types including: .gif .jpg .png .mwv .3gp .avi .mov .mp4 .mpeg .mpg .flv .mkv
Can I upload multiple photos at a time?
I’m sorry at present we are only able to accept 1 photo at a time. If you’ve got a number of photos which you would like to feature you can email them to btimes@bibendum-wine.co.uk
REGISTRATION
Why do I have to register to comment?
We want to help generate a proper debate so it’s good to know who is talking. Once you’ve registered you can easily stay logged in for the whole time, by clicking remember me.
What happens if I’ve forgotten my password?
No problems, simply click on register and then on ‘Forgotten Password?’ and enter your email address. This will send you an automated password, just copy and paste it into the registration page and you are now signed in – you can then comment and rate to your heart’s content!
Why do you want my mobile number?
We will be sending out text reminders closer to the event, so you don’t need to be anywhere near your computer, you’ll have all the event details at your finger tips.
CONTENT, POSTS & ARTICLES
I write a blog, how can I feature some of my content on your site?
If you write a food, wine, travel, culture or restaurant/bar review blog we would love to hear from you and would love to feature a couple of your posts on our web site. We will of course link it through to your blog.
How can I submit a post?
If you have something on your mind or have just been to an amazing restaurant or to a wine producing area, we’d love to hear from you. We’ve got all the guidelines and instructions on the ‘Calling all closet journalists’ page. Ideally we would like at least one photo with every post. If you want any further information then please contact btimes@bibendum-wine.co.uk
What will happen to your submission?
We aim to publish all articles verbatim but will edit for spelling or grammar; we may also cut down the size of particularly long posts. Once you have emailed it to us we aim to publish your post on the site within 5 working days.
Will you let me know when it’s up?
We will email you when your post is published.
How can I complain about a post or comment?
As a site which relies heavily on user generated content we will only take down posts or comments which we deem to be offensive or vicious in their nature, as specified by the terms and conditions of use.
All posts and articles are edited before publication however comments are moderated post publication. We will remove any comment that is in breach of our terms and conditions.
If you would like to complain about a specific post or comment then please email btimes@bibendum-wine.co.uk with details of the offensive content and we will moderate it and remove where appropriate.
